With 25 years of experience, Tiger brings a blend of technical expertise and leadership to his role as Director of Structural Engineering at Core States Group. Licensed as a Structural Engineer (SE) in 49 states plus Washington, D.C., Tiger is one of the few professionals in the country with such expansive certifications.

Tiger’s path to structural engineering began with a passion for art and design. He was initially drawn to architecture, and he discovered that his interests also aligned with the technical skillset for engineering. His career has been built on curiosity, problem-solving, and a deep appreciation for the structures that shape our world.

In his role, Tiger oversees the structural engineering operations across Core States Group, providing strategic leadership, technical oversight, and mentorship for a multi-regional team. His vision is to strengthen collaboration across disciplines and streamline documentation and workflows.

Tiger believes that progress comes from challenging old habits and embracing smarter tools to eliminate inefficiencies and elevate design quality. His approach brings precision and authenticity to create an environment where engineers feel both supported and inspired.

Outside of work, Tiger stays active through hiking, swimming, woodworking, and music. He enjoys exploring the Back 40 Trail in Bella Vista with his dog Xiaobai, serving as a worship leader at his church, and building furniture.
