Core States Group—an integrated, industry-leading architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) firm that partners with some of the world’s most recognized brands—has named Josh Harlan as Vice President, serving as the company’s national lead for civil engineering. Harlan has also joined Core States Group’s Senior Leadership Team. This announcement follows Core States Group’s 2024 acquisition of Barghausen Consulting Engineers, LLC, where Harlan served as Principal Engineer.

 At Barghausen, Harlan was well known for overseeing fast-paced multisite client programs encouraging rapid brand growth and expansion. In his new role, he will expand his focus toward accelerating Core States Group’s civil engineering presence across the United States and Canada. As a member of Core States Group’s Senior Leadership Team, Josh prioritizes cultivating connections, providing opportunities for staff advancement, and delivering an elevated standard of service to clients.
