When TD Bank considered reducing the size of its branches by about a thousand square feet, they faced a challenge: What if they invested the considerable time and expense in building one of the new branches only to find out that smaller was too small? We solved their problem by suggesting we build the prototype inside one of their warehouses, right down to the furniture and office equipment. All of TD Bank’s stakeholders had a chance to spend time in the model to make sure it aligned with their needs and those of their customers. In the end, the new prototype was deemed a go, with just a few modifications based on their experience with our mock-up. With our help, the bank was able to make a critical decision with confidence at a significant savings of time and money—no permitting, engineering, or construction stress required.
